Feldberg with 1277 m the highest town in Germany. It is situated on the summit of Feldbergstraße (1231 m) between the meadow valley in the south and in the north Gutachtal, just below the summit of the Feldberg Mountain, the highest peak of Baden-Württemberg. The largest district of the municipality of Feldberg is Altglashuetten, where the town hall and other central facilities are located. Feldberg is situated in the southern Black Forest.
