Another attraction in Hirtshals is the 7 Km south to Dysse of Tornby, which is the northernmost dolmen in Denmark.
Designed by architect Niels Sigfred Nebelong Lighthouse of Hirtshals The place was built in 1863. Hirtshals similar to Skagen lighthouse of the same architect. The building of Hirtshals has 144 steps and a light height of 57 meters. Every 30 seconds is emitted a white light with a powerful flashes. The tower offers a wide view over the city of Hirtshals and its surroundings with Tannis Bay in the north and in the south of Rubjerg Knude.
