Chironico was a place in the district of Leventina in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. The municipality Chironico situated on a terrace at the entrance of the Val Chironico, which is a right tributary of the Valle Leventina. In the village center of Chironico are an old Romanesque church and a six-storey medieval tower, whose purpose is not precisely known.
