Ebersdorf is a municipality in the judicial district of Hartberg and Hartberg-Fürstenfeld in Styria. The town lies at the Ebersdorf Pöllauer Untersafen in eastern Styria's hill country. Ebersdorf is located about ten kilometers south of the district capital of Hartberg and about 40 km northeast of the provincial capital of Graz. In addition to the Pöllauer Untersafen Ebersdorf is traversed in the south in the valley of the same name Nörningbach, a tributary of the Pöllauer Safens.
