Grimentz is a resort in the French-speaking Val d'Anniviers, District Sierre in the canton of Valais in Switzerland and is situated at an altitude of 1,553 m. Grimentz is situated on a south-east facing sun terrace on the left bank of the river Gougra. The terrace of Grimentz emerged as Moränenablagerung of the Glacier de Moiry.
