Kaufbeuren is a town in the Bavarian administrative region of Swabia, on the northeastern edge of the Allgäu and is completely surrounded by the district Ostallgaeu.
Kaufbeuren is the fourth largest city in the Bavarian administrative region of Swabia (Bavaria). Kaufbeuren is located halfway between Munich and Lindau on the B 12. The city Kaufbeuren is a moraine valley by the river Wertach. Kaufbeuren divided into two large, spatially separated parts of the city Kaufbeuren-Altstadt and purchase Beuren Neugablonz and some unincorporated villages. Kaufbeuren includes the hamlets Kaufbeuren, Hirsch cell, Kemnat, Neugablonz and Oberbeuren.
