Campoo denotes a comarca in the south of the Spanish region of Cantabria, whose office is located in the town of Reinosa. The name Campoo also stands for a landscape whose extension goes beyond the borders of the district and also reach into the land of Castile and Leon. The landscape is a plateau surrounded by mountains, the western mountain region is again called Alto Campoo. In this region of the river Ebro, which flows few kilometers from its source through a reservoir rises. Settlements are located mainly around the Ebro reservoir and the city Reinosa. Large parts of the landscape Campoo are uninhabited and are considered Biosphere Reserve, where there is a ski resort in a part of the mountain.
