Vallorbe is a municipality in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois of the canton of Vaud of Switzerland. Vallorbe lies 750 meters above the sea, 12 km west of Orbe and 21 kilometers south-west of the regional capital of Yverdon-les-Bains. Vallorbe is crossed from west to east from the Orbe, which rises in a karst spring at the foot of a rock boiler. At The municipality includes the hamlet of Le Vallorbe Day on a ridge south of the Lac des Rosiers, the newer housing development Les Grands Marais on the lower slopes of Mont d'Or northeast of the town as well as some individual farms. The main touristic attraction in the Vallorbe is the Grotte de l'Orbe. The museums of Vallorbe attract tourists, and the surrounding Jura mountains are ideal for summer hiking.
